Weekly Horoscope for Virgo Summary
Mercury is racing ahead of the Sun again... So just watch how many of those that we deal with will find themselves getting too far ahead of themselves... And many will commit to plans, activities or "whatever", that will later prove to be unable for them to follow through... Yeah, some will try to walk-back previous statements or promises... We've all seen this a ga-jillion times before... One of the biggest misconceptions in astrology is that Mercury retrogrades are the problem... It's the Mercury racing ahead of the Sun that causes the problems that need to be fixed when Mercury does in fact go retrograde.
Hell, most of you guys have been reading my 'Scopes for 20 years... So you know I am not a doom & gloomer... But when there are strong elements in the chart, I am surely going to bring them up... And right now, we have Saturn about to enter into it's home sign of Capricorn... Try to see it like this... Imagine being away on an extended vacation and you finally get back home... Ahhhh... And then you look around and see what a mess has been made while you were gone... The "hammer" drops and that "DAD" Saturn energy starts to kick in and when that happens, you know things are going to change... Trackin' with me on this?
A good way to envision the Saturn energy would be like those old Dads on the 50's & 60's telly-vision shows... That stern but fair father figure... The Jupiter energy is there to counter-balance Saturn... Jupiter's vibe is easy going, fun and filled with humor... Jupiter has a deeply spiritual side too... That demands honesty and integrity... Jupiter passes judgment but it doesn't administer the corrections or punishments... It leaves that for Saturn when it gets to the point where things have gone too far or is getting out of hand... Sorta-kinda how my Mom would leave it for my Dad too... hehe... (gulp)...
What's the point?...
With Saturn sitting on the cusp of Capricorn, things are going to change dramatically... The rules and laws that were lax before will be tightened down... You'll find that people will be held accountable for their actions and with tougher consequences when they veer off the path... This energy reminds me of the story of "The Emperor's New Clothes"... Where everybody has been going along with the illusion for so long that they've started to believe it... Until someone speaks up and says "The King is bare-assed nekid"... hehe...
Wait, it gets even more intense...
To complicate matters more... Jupiter is retrograde... So all of the things that have been covered up or corrupted will start to be exposed in a major way... But with Jupiter retro, it will be very hard to know what to believe and what not to... One side says this, and the other side says that... But where the major corrections will be seen and felt the hardest will be (in my opinion) in the global economies.
So we may expect the road to get bumpy for a while, but all in all this energy is going to bring back stability, prosperity and growth... That is what both Saturn and the sign of Capricorn sets out to do... So I am pretty optimistic looking further down the road.
