Weekly Horoscope for Virgo Summary
Life is a State of Mind...
When things do not make sense, sometimes that can be a signal that we need to back up and re-examine the information we are acting upon... Everyday we base our choices & decisions upon the things we were taught from the earliest moments of our lives... But what if we were to find out that large parts of that were not true... And because of that, things did not always function as we hoped or expected them to... Work with me on this...
In astrology, there are two very different styles or flavors of horoscope charts... One is called Heliocentric that is based upon the Sun being at the center of our Solar System (as science currently teaches us)... The other method is called Geocentric, where the chart is cast with the Earth being at the center of the Solar System... In modern Astrology, most Astrologers (myself included) use the Geocentric charts for their calculations.
This is where it gets a bit wild... So you better strap on your protective head-gear because it may get a little bumpy for a few moments... hehe...
Throughout all of time until about 1500 AD, mankind believed that the Earth was at the center of the universe... And that the Sun and Planets all rotated around the earth... But around 1500AD a scientist named Nicolaus Copernicus (Pisces) presented a theory that the earth actually rotated around the Sun... And as time went on, most scientists started accepting this theory as being a fact... But the truth in the room is that it was never actually proven to be true... And in fact, to this day science is still unable to prove whether the Sun rotates around the Earth or the Earth rotates around the Sun.
Imagine if you were a scientist comfortable in your middle age, and were to find out that all the data you presented to the world was in fact wrong... What would you do?... Would you stand on the top of a mountain and shout it out to the world or would you choose to go along and hope nobody noticed it until you were safely "retired"?... hehe... When asked, even Albert "don't touch my hair" Einstein said he wasn't really sure if his theories were correct because they were based on other theories.
Right now, we have a retrograde Jupiter moving through the sign of Virgo... Jupiter is the planet of "blunt honest truth"... The kind where you do not ask if the things we are wearing make us look goofy if we are not prepared for a truthful answer... Virgo is a very scientific and is awesome at assembling facts, figures and data... So as Jupiter moves through Virgo, it has a way of bringing up those nagging bits of information that remind us that the "accepted truths" may in reality be wrong or different than we assume them to be.
Don't get me wrong... I am an Astrologer and not a Physicist... I do not know one way or another if the Sun rotates around the Earth or the Earth around the Sun... That is not the point... What I am suggesting is that as we go through our lives at this current time, this planet energy asks us to question what we assume to be facts... Could science and politics be leading us in the wrong direction?... Could ancient civilizations known more about the true nature of the universe than we do today?... Lot's of questions... But asking questions often lead to answers and that is what our overall chart at the moment is asking us to do... Thanks for stoppin' by... With Jupiter sitting in your solar 1st House, that is a good indicator that you have all the tools and abilities needed to bring your life to much higher levels... In fact, the only limits you truly have at the moment will be the ones you are placing upon yourself... (fact, deal with it)... With that said, that doesn't mean you are not going to have your challenges, as this energy requires you to release certain elements of the past... It's very much about embracing the future and overcoming the ruts, routines and habits that you cling to that bring you no true results!!
The weekly Virgo chart will feel very natural and easy for you as it tends to be focused on taking care of the usual tasks & chores that need to be completed... Even though your mind is extremely sharp at this time, there is a tendency to be easily distracted or side-tracked... Not only that, but you cannot allow problems to frustrate or cause you to give up or to turn your mood & attitude negative or critical... The idea is to find, fix problems where they appear and keep moving forward... Later in the week the vibe is light and great for any kind of social & fun activities.
