Song of the Week

Oh, let the sun beat down upon my face
With stars to fill my dream
I am a traveler of both time and space
To be where I have been

Sit with elders of the gentle race
This world has seldom seen
Talk of days for which they sit and wait
And all will be revealed

Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace
Sounds caress my ear
But not a word I heard could I relate
The story was quite clear

Ooh, baby, I've been flying
No, yeah, mama, there ain't no denyin'
Ooh, yeah, I've been flying
Mama, mama, ain't no denyin', no denyin'

All I see turns to brown
As the sun burns the ground
And my eyes fill with sand
As I scan this wasted land
Trying to find, trying to find where I've been

Oh, pilot of the storm who leaves no trace
Like thoughts inside a dream
Heed the path that led me to that place
Yellow desert stream

My Shangri-La beneath the summer moon
I will return again
Sure as the dust that floats high in June
When movin' through Kashmir

Oh, father of the four winds, fill my sails
Across the sea of years
With no provision but an open face
Along the straits of fear

When I'm on, when I'm on my way
When I see, when I see the way, you stay

When I'm down
When I'm down, so down
Ooh, my baby, ooh, my baby, let me take you there
Come on, come on
Let me take you there, let me take you there

Today's Horoscope Summary...

"Clear the Mechanism"...
Whenever I sit down to write... I always start by saying "Clear the Mechanism"... It's a line Kevin Kostner says in the film 'For the Love of the Game'... Where everything goes silent and you're focused on only one thing... And the rest of the world doesn't exist at that moment in time.

Obviously the Big Astrological News this week is Mercury goin' retrograde for the next few weeks... I've said it many times before, but Mercury retro always gets a bad reputation that isn't really deserved... Yes, there may be trouble with communication and transportation... But often these 'problems' may be there to prevent something far worse from happening by forcing us to deal with certain issues right now.

This week the vibe tends to be even more 'unusual' too... It has a bit of a fun-lovin' but also a 'rebellious' quality too... So we need to be very aware of how others may take our 'words' and 'actions'... It is great energy for relationships and social activities, as long as long-term commitments are not made immediately... It is really there to help us 'expand' the levels of our interactions with others.

That's it for right now... The whole family is in town... This could prove to be rather interesting with all of us 'mutant-spazes' in the same place... hehe... Good times for sure!!

That's it for now... I'll talk to you guys in the Daily 'Scopes...

Keep the Faith... Better Days and Higher Love are comin' soon...

The Weekly Horoscope for Taurus...

The weekly horoscope for Taurus has it's focus on 'personal possessions' this week as Mercury goes retro in your solar 2nd House... This is one of those time when you need to keep everything in perspective... Sorta-kinda where no matter how much dough you may have, there is always going to be the ones who have a lot more... It's a reminder that 'people are not possessions' and need to be cherished and appreciated.

...Show some Love...

Your Daily Tao

Yield and remain whole
Bend and remain straight
Be low and become filled
Be worn out and become renewed
Have little and receive
Have much and be confused
Therefore the sages hold to the one as an example for the world
Without flaunting themselves – and so are seen clearly
Without presuming themselves – and so are distinguished
Without praising themselves – and so have merit
Without boasting about themselves – and so are lasting

Because they do not contend, the world cannot contend with them
What the ancients called "the one who yields and remains whole"
Were they speaking empty words?
Sincerity becoming whole, and returning to oneself
