Weekly Horoscope for Cancer Summary
Today I Start my Life Anew..!!
We have an energy that can sound rather 'dull' on the surface because it entails taking things in a very s-l-o-w and s-t-e-a-d-y pace... The idea is not to get too far ahead of ourselves... With Venus, Mercury and Mars clustered near the cusp of Virgo... It has that vibe that 'the devil is in the details'... Where it is definitely in our best interest to 'remain in the moment' and to make the most of it because the future is determined by what we say and do right here, right now.
As practical as this energy is, there will also be a lot of focus on the material areas of life too... The focus is definitely on 'quality' right now... So if you are going to bother doing something, then do it to the best of your ability... And if you are going to make purchases, make sure the item has quality and real true value.
This is one of those times when we're best served when we remain 'in the moment' and focus on 'quality'... Not just in the things we have, but just as much in the things that we do... All those retrograde planets all in a row.... (Cupido, Pluto, Saturn, Neptune, Chiron and Venus) are tellin' us to slow down... pay attention and to get things done right the first time... That may sound 'dull' but then again there is nothing like that feeling that when we look back at the things we did and pat ourselves on the back with self-satisfaction of knowing 'that was done with excellence'.
I'll tell ya's a quick story...
I have this old cabinet in my dining room... The first thing people do when they see it is say 'd-a-m-n'... hehe... When I was in my late teens... I had a old van that I was 'fixing up'... My Mom taught herself to refinish furniture and she would go to garage/rummage sales to find things... (loved antique oak)... Having the van, she'd ask me to go pickup the things she bought... As soon as I saw that one cabinet, I knew it was gonna be awesome... It had a cool lookin' shape... This one was different... Someone painted it black and put a big nail through the wood to keep one drawer closed... So paid the $10 for it... Loaded it in the van and took it home.
So we got it home and into the garage and started to strip off the old finish... She knew I liked it so she asked me to help her with it... The more of the paint/whatever was on it was removed, we could see what was underneath it... The bottom drawer was light wood and round... The darker wood around it was put in at an angle... It turned out to be the Sun... With rays extending from it... It took us a month to finish it... (slow and steady)... When we were done, she said this one is for you.
I 'Spose the point I am tryin' to make is that certain tasks that at first may appear to be a 'pain in the ass' can turn into something extremely awesome... With this energy, even the challenges we face can turn out to be blessin's in disguise.
That's it for now...
