Daily Horoscope for Virgo Summary

Hey Moon-doggies...
Pa-Dowd (me) has been doin' a lot of yard work lately and is a bit stiff and sore today... (stop whining daniel and get to the 'scopes fercrissakes... and please pass the olives while you're at it)... hehe... Yeah, the body is a bit sore but this is a very exciting chart so let's get into it.

A lot of you guys will know that Yod's in astrology are super important... They look like the emblem on the old Star-Trek uniforms... It looks like an arrow-point and personally I think it looks like that because the universe wants to make damn sure that astrologers do not miss it... Yods are important because they show us where the energy is most likely to be directed or concentrated.

In our current chart, we have a Yod where Neptune and Pluto are pointing to Venus at 12 Degrees in the sign of Leo... Neptune and Pluto deal with intuition, transformation as well as positions of power and authority... And Venus looks after beauty, the arts, love and warfare...

Everybody tends to think of Venus as this flowery lovey-dovey babe without a care in the world... And in a way, it's energy can be like that... But think about it, the ancients did not offer Venus human sacrifices because she was "just so sweet"... hehe... When Venus had a bad-day everybody knew it... hehe... Venus looks after warfare when it's interests are threatened... (Mars tends to start wars out of aggression or conquest)... Trackin' with me on this so far?...

By the way, Mars is not in the best of shape right now either... Mars is teamed up with Uranus and that can be like adding gasoline to fire... At times their energy can be totally brilliant and at other times we get "dumb and dumber" where the vibe is act first and then deal with the circumstances later on.

Anyway... With this Yod in effect, it suggests we carefully consider the decisions and choices we will make because chances are we are not being told the full truth (neptune) or that we are getting opinions being presented as truth (pluto)... It's also when you may encounter others who are just looking to start some kind of fight so they can vent their own inner frustrations on somebody else. I see this energy as taking more of a defensive stance, by refusing to get pulled into the high-drama of others...

The idea is how to put all this energy together for our own advantage and I'll get into that in tomorrow's 'scope...
