Today I Start my Life Anew...
The Song of the Week is the best example of what Sky-Diving feels like to me... There is that initial 'tension' you feel about making sure you've covered all the details... Packin' your 'Chute... Gettin' your mind right... (blah blah blah)... Knowin' what you are going to do, and being prepared for anything unexpected that may happen... Life or death in a 50 second free-fall...
If any of your have ever 'sky-dived' before... You'll know exactly what I mean... You may not hear the Supertramp lyrics like I do... But you surely make that connection to the higher power... Perhaps the most beautiful thing you could ever experience... The Supertramp song does the best way of describing what it feels like for me.
The moment you exit the plane... 11 seconds of acceleration... Then time stops... You're not falling anymore... Your floating... Cup your hand, you turn... Move your legs, you move forward or backwards... Weightless and floating and there is no other feeling like it... Till you realize it's time... To Save Your Life... by pullin' the rip-cord and floating back to earth.
We're dealiing with chart energy that has that same element of 'tension and release' that we feel when sky-diving... Knowing how serious our actions are, and how they may critically determine our outcomes... But there is also that 'silent knowing' that if we can jump out of an airplane and survive, we can handle anything else life may throw at us.
I haven't jumped out of a plane for 40 years... Valerie and I made an agreement... (she worried about me)... If I gave up sky-divin'... She would buy me a video game computer... Haven't jumped since... But every time I am in a jet... I hear Supertramp's "Even In the Quietest Moment" song...
That is what the current chart is like...
Be ready to fly and soar...

In that moment when you exit that airplane, a whole new reality is created... SAVE YOUR LIFE... But if you can't... You have about 45 seconds of free-fall total magic... When you pull the rip-cord and reach the ground, every day thereafter is a blessing and cherished...
