All right, all right, all ready. Just what exactly is with all this talk of “the new” what’s “emerging” and in general, preparing for what’s next, ‘cuz it IS just around the bend…. Seems like we are much to often being pressed in a forward mode… but, in fact, the new only unfolds in the Now, and it is precisely what causes that look of astonishment on the faces of infants engaged in discovery. This is the key. Oh and time. Always time. Time moves fast, (as a New Yorker, I am qualified to say) even faster than it used to…

Do did we really want it to slow down? ….How much slow motion could you really take? The length of the span of attention is waning but, sometimes, this is ok, like when time flies. We are literally experiencing more things in a (so called) unit of time!... By my calculations that means its time to pop the champagne ‘cuz we are getting more life outta life….right? Well, if we are appreciating the Here Now, right Now, right Here, then I suppose, yes, and we might need more champagne too, ‘cuz we are bound to drink this one Fast! Jeez, ok, there’s my rant about time.

The weekend begins with a solid push towards forward thinking and planning but in a more subtle and more sensual way….it can be as if the chaos of the world on a grand scale acts as a pressure point to push our perspective back to a much more intimate focal point and brings with it a determination to make things better, for ourselves. Or easier, which is always better. Or groovier, which is always grand. Doesn’t matter how you look at it this energy has designs on forward momentum and change for the better…there is certainly no sense in waiting around for “them” to take care of it, wink.

The weekend unfolds into a much more social vibe where there is the desire to get out and connect with others, this is when we are likely to hear and see things that are usually left to much more intimate quarters, behind closed doors, or just plain kept to the cerebral sphere. Much easier to catch the cat outta the bag, and this can be a lot of fun. Especially for those who are willing to abandon the ties of resistance or norms and rules. Time to go have some fun!
