Halloween is now over and it is The Day of the Dead and All Saint's Day this weekend. The veil is oh, so thin and contacting the spirits of those who have passed on is easier than usual. The clocks are rolled back this weekend, giving us an extra hour of darkness for rest and enjoying candlelight. And also for meditation and working with magic. This time of year always brings back so many memories of times gone by and people who are long gone. Do I remember them or are they reaching out to me? Maybe a little of both. It is very powerful for me when this season comes around. One of my dogs just passed away a few days ago. We had her for 13 years and she was like a mother to the little dogs. They miss her terribly and so do I. I still find myself looking for her.

This weekend brings reflection and some quiet urges. Emotions may run high, but everyone is learning to balance effort with rest. Water and earth signs find peace in quiet spaces, while fire and air signs feel ready for new beginnings. It's a time to slow down, be kind, and reconnect with simple joys. By Sunday, most of us will feel more centered and optimistic.
