Oh yeah, this weekend is full of activity and motion! Mars couldn’t be opening up on the scene with any more presence than it already has and it’s all working to stimulate our personal interactions and drive. If you are lucky enough to be able to pair this energy with some great Spring weather like we are here in New York this weekend, than all the better, the sunshine will add a dose of stimulation to the mix that will bring things to the brim of life.

Above all this energy is dominated by a feeling of interest than cannot be defined by the status quo, the basics simply won’t do it right now and anything you can do to spice things up and make them more interesting the better. This energy works a bit like a rabbit hole where you start off headed in one direction and can quickly find yourself on any number of paths in, between, and around the original. Being verbal and open to expression is the key to aligning this energy with others, the more people added to the scene right now, the more crazy and interesting things become…. If you’re not ready for a party vibe that will stir things up and lead to some adventure (even if it’s just within the confines of the mind) then you’ll want to avoid the social scene right now. Otherwise, get out and have some fun!

On it’s deepest levels, this energy is working, just like Spring does best, to stimulate new growth, new interest, new information- it’s what you Don’t know that is causing the pull right now. This energy is top level when it comes to the spiritual and unseen side of things…when communicating without words gets the upper hand of the flow.

It wouldn’t be fair if I failed to stress the bit of tension that’s being activated by Mars opposing Uranus right now, but I can tell you that Mars has the upper hand. This is actually when rushing will cause a bit of blind sidedness that can easily allow us to miss things… this will lead to hang ups or complete changes of plan that will be unexpected. The key here is simply to be able to take into account as much of the picture as possible, keep your attention peeled and peeked, if only so you don’t cause yourself extra strife.

The interesting part of this tension will stimulate interactions between people as one side of this energy is headed into unexpected territory while the other is working to pull ahead like a run away train…it’s not highly likely these energies will end up headed in the same direction- but they will cause the other to go “off track” just enough to cross into new ground (this is good if not a little bit bumpy a ride). This is one of those times (my favorites) when the veil and shield between what’s seen and what lies beneath (the goood stuff) becomes thin, torn, or simply outright ignored and the subconscious springs to life and helps to impregnate new situations.
