This is definitely a day where we could each use a little bit more Zen, that goes equally for everyone since weâ≢re all riding in the same boat on this here, our earth. You know that when the weather is as crazy as itâ≢s been, that itâ≢s really just icing on our communal cakeââ¾and that means this cake isnâ≢t toped as much with icing as it is icy, and the cake belowââ¾.weâ≢ll itâ≢s bound to be a little bittersweet. But thatâ≢s just the thing- itâ≢s our cake and we get to do with it as we pleaseââ¾.sometimes we donâ≢t even want to eat it, sometimes it seems like it could only be used as fodder for a good old ââ¬Ã
Âface-pieââ¬ÃÂââ¾but it always remains our cake, ours, and thatâ≢s what will always make it so special- that we get to do the choosing.
The Zen proverb above sits on my desktop right nowââ¾ peaking out behind these words. It serves as interesting fuel right now given the overwhelming energy weâ≢ve got emerging in the form of renewal, trying to make itâ≢s own headway behind the scenes of a retro Mercury pairing up with the intensity of the Sun (and an intense Sun it is!). This of course makes things a bit more personal in nature and just as it should be- the best we can do right now is to pay very close attention to the smallest of our own details. This goes beyond a typical ââ¬Ã
Âpay attention to what you are doingââˆkind of way, and burrows down as far as the feeling beneath the feeling. Just by being so in tune with out own actions, and how they feel, we are much closer to the source of this energy and what itâ≢s trying to tell usââ¾
Take, for example, all the people who get to unearth their car right now from a snow bank, or shovel a driveway that isnâ≢t used to seeing an inch or two much less a foot or two of snowââ¾itâ≢s not in being in-tune with the act, itâ≢s absorbing every nuance of itâ≢s expression- what it feels like to be alive Through the action/situation itself. Yeah, it may not Seem wise, but just taking off your gloves and freezing your fingers and youâ≢ll know the joy and life force of getting to warm them back upââ¾ itâ≢s all in the little things right now and thereâ≢s much to be consumed byââ¾
Still, itâ≢s the renewal factor in this energy pattern that remains of so much interestââ¾this is when the silver lining shines through when you least expect it, or from behind the thing you never expected the shining sun to be behindââ¾the past sneaks out and brings forth new energy and understandingââ¾.but first you have to consider it, be willing to bring it out into the light to see it for what it is.
Yeah, it will take a little bit of bold action and willingness to take a step into unknown territory for this energy to shine, but make no mistake, it will be well worth the effortââ¾ Iâ≢ll get more into it in the weekend summary so stay tuned & shine on!
