Uranus packs a whollop of energy over the weekend and this energy is pushing the communal vibe to an extreme...an intense drawing together of likeness that is on a level that extends much deeper than like minds... this is when the most obscure and unusual attractive forces are at play...the key is in realizing that what things look like has nothing to do with what draws them together...there is an air of magnetism that extends to like frequencies that resonate with the unexpected. It's not the grand plan that brings things together right now but an openness to let the grandest of plans unfold before you...I love this kind of energy because you can do it best in an almost dream like almost meditative way (just not while operating heavy machinery).... pure relaxation and receptiveness is what opens the doors....

With communal energy like this at play, it might just be best here, to tell a story...or two.

If you know me, you know that one of the bands I quote more than any other is the one I quoted today... The Tragically Hip. This band was a huge part of my childhood and introduced to me through some fabulous Canadian souls in the land of Ontario.... the vision and enthusiasm of this magical group sets them apart and above. The vocalist, Gord Downie, was recently diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. What does he do? He plans a tour. His love of his work and the joy of giving his gift trumps all. Tragically Hip, indeed. My love, our love, their love. The great circle in it's highest and brightest. In the words of the band "This feels like the right thing to do now, for Gord, and for all of us. What we in The Hip receive, each time we play together, is a connection; with each other; with music and it’s magic; and during the shows, a special connection with all of you, our incredible fans. So, we’re going to dig deep, and try to make this our best tour yet." How I love these guys!

Indeed, I have just returned from the magical land which is Canada, and in my travels was graced by a chance meeting with a gentlemen who narrowly missed service in our second world war. He did however, have the chance to discuss, heart to heart with a man who served in the first world war.... and what he was told he would never forget. In this kind of service, it was confided, you experience what it is like to be utterly and totally alone...(not exactly the image popularly portrayed)...from here you only have two choices. You can go "down" or you can go "up". It seems we are confronted with these same two choices every single day, in our own battle in and for life. Expansion or contraction. To give light or yield to the dark... Only when the honest nature of the self pours forth from within, making no exceptions, that all playing fields are leveled.... These are the dynamics at play when we interact with the endless others who weave in and out of our life. A chance meeting, the grace of contact, the open and receptive nature which gains entrance to the flood gates to the most fulfilling thing of all, the pure understanding between hearts. That which is never grasped and always felt....the liquid gold that gilds the soul.

This is the magical essence that we have at play right now, a most valuable time in which to soak and simmer...

I hope this makes the connection right now... (after driving for 15 hours my brain wires are a little crossed, and maybe that's a good thing hehehe).
