Daily Horoscope for Leo Summary

The Sun and Mercury roll through and connect with Uranus this week, which is going to fire up the revolution again. So you'll see a lot of discourse on sociopolitical issues, like police killing people, and maybe some in the political vein as well, where Bernie Sanders will probably have his last platform of relevance for a while. And we're Americans, and we talk about American stuff here, but Europe hasn't exactly been a beacon of stability lately either, so there might be more discourse over there about their issues as well.

I'm going to focus more on the Mercury elements, since the Sun's energy won't kick in until later on in the week, and the old man can talk about that if he so chooses.

For today, you're going to have people who want to fight the good fight, but go about it in the wrong ways. This is primarily going to be through verbal/written communication. People will have a tendency to belabor points to the point where you're like "Ok, I get it" and you start to tune them out. If people continue on, they even have the possibility to turn those who actually agree with them against them. Remember that when communicating, you are communicating a message, but the delivery matters too.

Brevity and being succinct are important here. Get your point out and move on. Additionally, if you are in a position where you are trying to be persuasive, you have to think in gradual degrees. Think of bringing home a new puppy. It comes in, and shits on your floor. You get mad. You want it to go outside. But you might set up an "indoor defecation area", so it gets used to going in one common space first, then you migrate the training to outside once it's comfortable with that.

Your conversations with others will work like that. It's too big of a jump to get someone who's got an opposing viewpoint (or might be reluctant to help you out) to just drop where they stand. You have to create a bridge first. Get them somewhere closer to your goal. Maybe compromise some in the process. Once they've come closer to you, you might get them to move even farther towards what you want out of them.

Much of it comes down to tempering expectations and not expecting things to happen all at once. Take the long view. Focus on steps in the right direction. When you have a realistic perspective of change, you view change more positively than when you don't. Best of luck.

The Daily Horoscope for Leo

There's a tendency to dwell on past events here, but others are going to be more concerned with how to fix things going on now. You have lots of experience, but you have to find ways to make the experience fit how things are now. It might not be as cut and dried as it seems. This is where you need to tap into your sense of creativity. Think about how things are put together, and if you have to break something up and put it back together, that might be easier than doing things the ways you always have.
