And away we go... (as Jackie Gleason used to say)
Yup... Mercury is currently at a virtual "stand-still" as it prepares to shift into reverse and join the retrograde party today (oh joy)...

Astrologers always "dog" Mercury when it goes retrograde because it's one of the closer planets to earth, we tend to feel it's energy in a more personal and stronger way... Mercury looks after electronics, communication and transportation... And those are big areas that can cause us a lot of problems and aggravations when things do not go as planned or expected.

Personally, I get more concerned when I see that both Jupiter and Saturn are retrograde... Those two are considered "the lords of the chart"... And when they decide to "go on vacation" there tends to be a lot of really goofy and problematic choices and decisions that are made... These tend to deal more with "global and political" issues that come back to dog us later on when we are scratching our heads wondering "what the hell were they thinking when they decided to do that??" hehe...

Pluto is the planet of transformation and it's retro nearly 1/2 the year... So it's no big-deal when it's retro... (or so it may appear)... When Pluto is moving backwards, this is when people can fall prey to "temptation"... We've all heard it a ga-jillion times when someone says... "Go on, everybody does it all the time!!"... (or something like that)... It can give us the feeling that we are beyond the rules or somehow "exempt" from them... (don't be that guy)...

Yeah, Mercury retrograde can be a pain in the ass at times... But these outer planet retrogrades are the one that create the conditions that re-define our lives... I think we all get sick of hearing about it and I'm not to thrilled to write about it... But the truth is that these retrograde times are extremely important... They are really showing that the universe or Big Spirit if you prefer are stepping in to administer justice and results... It's there to "give us what we asked for"... But sometimes what we ask for has consequences that we didn't expect.

It's a strange time out there Moon-doggies... Be smart, and stay safe!!...
