Daily Horoscope for Gemini Summary

It's "Black Friday"... Or technically it will be by the time most of your read this... (Members get to read the 'scopes a day in advance)... So this is actually being posted on Thanksgiving Morning... (yawn)... hehe... So even though I'm in the groove, I'm glad I have the 'scopes written so I can look forward to later on when the whole family gets together... And there are a lot of us too!! Want a bit of my family history??

Our name... "Dowd"... (Ó Dubhda) means "From the Dark"... We originally came from the Middle East and had "dark skin" that were brought in to protect the Kings of Ireland... Eventually, we "rose above" and ended up becoming the last Kings of Ireland...

A bit north of Dublin... There is a famous site called "Newgrange"... It was created about 5000 BC... (much older than Stonehenge) that has 3 main grass covered pyramids... Each one has an opening where the Sun will shine down a passage on the winter solstice and "illuminate" the center chamber... Newgrange is by far the most awesome... there is another called Knowth... And the third, that may go back to my family is called "Dowth"... It's pretty clear that they were astrologers... As they have a stone with "The Seven Suns" carved on them... Check it out... So who knows, perhaps that's why astrology has always been a natural language for me... It's like it's part of me that requires no effort. Just writing down what a much greater power has already written in the stars.

Now days... We're a pretty tight family... On a day like today, just the immediate family and our kids (and grand-chillun's) add up to more than 50... So mealtime tends to be quite interesting... That's where the "pass the olives" line comes from...

So as you can see... I've completely lost my train of thought... hehehe... But I guess I just want to say thanks for stopping by... Happy Thanksgiving...

P.S.
Big Time thanks to my pal Angelika in Athens, Greece... Who "passed me the olives" just in time for Thanksgiving... (yum)... I'll share 'em with the family... hehehe...

The Daily Horoscope for Gemini

*THUD*... All of a sudden, out of no-where... It's like the curtain rises and suddenly you can see all that's been going on around you but failed to see before because you already had your mind made up about "how things were"... (or something like that)... This transit indicates a major epiphany is about to take place that can help re-define your life and bring about a personal transformation that embraces happiness & joy!!

...Show some Love...

Daily Tao

That which is well established cannot be uprooted
That which is strongly held cannot be taken
The descendants will commemorate it forever

Cultivate it in yourself; its virtue shall be true
Cultivate it in the family; its virtue shall be abundant
Cultivate it in the community; its virtue shall be lasting
Cultivate it in the country; its virtue shall be prosperous
Cultivate it in the world; its virtue shall be widespread

Therefore observe others with yourself
Observe other families with your family
Observe other communities with your community
Observe other countries with your country
Observe the world with the world
With what do I know the world?
With this
