Personal relationships are important. They’re kind of the center of operations for mostly everything we do on a day-to-day basis. But with this weekend’s energy, we might be going a little overboard in doing things we feel are necessary to preserve them. This might mean bending over backwards to help others, when really they need to take their own lumps and deal with the consequences of their own actions.

What you’ll often find happens here is that in trying to be a good Samaritan, you get sucked into situations that end up backfiring on you. You might end up being on the hook for extra money, or you might see your own opportunities slipping away because you haven’t been able to pay them enough attention.

So while you don’t want to go to the extreme of cutting people off so you don’t have to feel any burdens, you shouldn’t take all of their problems upon yourself. The energy is already set up in a way where people will learn from mistakes, but you should carry on with more of an individualist bent and make sure all your personal needs are taken care of before you begin to worry about what others are going through. This is one of those times where your efforts aren’t always going to be rewarded, so take that into consideration before volunteering for any extra tasks. A lot of the work you will have to do here can turn into a full on hassle, and this is going to leave you rather irritated at some of the people around you. Still, you have to temper yourself and remember not to blow your lid, because that’s something others will remember and they’ll carry those memories with them into the future.
