Daily Horoscope for Capricorn Summary

Saturn turns retrograde this weekend and will remain so until October. This is not too unusual. He turns retrograde about once a year for 4 and a half months. Saturn is the King of Karma. Retrograde motion is a time when karma is sorted out. Therefore, Saturn retrograde is a double dose of karma. Karma simply means consequences. It is not necessarily bad. If you have been bad in the past, events will occur to teach you a lesson. If you have been good in the past, events will occur to reward you for your good deeds. Saturn does not only punish, he also rewards. While retrograde, the stern taskmaster wants us to look into our lives and find our weak spots so that we can redefine them. If we refuse to accept these lessons easily, then we will be forced to by delays and obstacles to what we are trying to do. What we do not learn the easy way, we will have to learn the hard way! We will gain insights, during this time, that will help us succeed once he turns direct again.

When Saturn turns direct, it will time to take action. If we use the insights we gained while it was retrograde, we will be on the road to success. On a personal level, the house in your natal chart that holds transiting Saturn reveals the life areas that are demanding your attention.

If we heed the lessons of Saturn and play by his rules, the Taskmaster will give us his stamp of approval and our success will surely follow.

Daily Tao

Do not glorify the achievers
So the people will not squabble
Do not treasure goods that are hard to obtain
So the people will not become thieves
Do not show the desired things
So their hearts will not be confused

Thus the governance of the sage:
Empties their hearts
Fills their bellies
Weakens their ambitions
Strengthens their bones

Let the people have no cunning and no greed
So those who scheme will not dare to meddle

Act without contrivance
And nothing will be beyond control
