The short term vs. long term energy continues to play itself out today, and you need to have one eye in front of you and the other looking where you're going. The common theme of the past month has kind of been balancing the two out and making decisions based on what your best potential will be. That's going to continue on today.

For right now, you want to make sure that the things you're saying to the people around you are synching up with what you're actually planning to do. There can be some disconnects on this end, and when making plans with people, if you (or they) are flaky about holding up to your respective ends of the bargain, it can cause friction in relationships.

Beyond that, a common question people might seem to ask right now is "Why can't I have this"? The problem with that question here is that it tends to be exclusive. Some things just aren't going to be possible, and we'll tend to fixate on them. However, suitable alternatives exist, and we can write them off because they're not that thing "we really, really want". So if you open up the options that you'll accept, you're also opening up the pathways to find something you'll find satisfactory. In these terms, don't think of it as "settling". Think of it as finding a more realistic option that suits your needs. Managing these expectations is a huge part of the energy, and if you are able to do that, a lot of the stress and consternation you might otherwise feel will go away. Best of luck.

You're going to enjoy new things and new experiences, albeit this is best done in small doses that you can easily process and work into what you already know. When you end up taking on too much at once, you can immediately shift mentality to a place where you're trying to figure everything out at once. That tends to get a bit insane, as you can stop removing the outlandish ideas you have (and sometimes look for ways to integrate them). You want to ensure you're keeping your thoughts on a reasonable level and scrutinizing things adequately.
