Don't worry so much about long-term goals and just focus on getting the basics down, making sure you fully understand what you're dealing with, and looking for small steps forward from there. This energy can be frustrating for those who want to fast track to an end-point, but the thing about experience is it prepares you for a lot of different things you might have to face, not just one thing you might envision in your mind.
