Daily Horoscope for Cancer Summary
Everything that is happening in the world today reminds me of The Wizard of Oz. First, Dorothy gets sucked up by a tornado and dropped into a strange world, nothing like Home. Then she meets three vaguely familiar characters, all looking for something they think they are lacking, so they can be whole. Not realizing they are already perfect just as they are!
Dorothy just wants to go Home. A power she has all along though she is not aware of it. Guided by Glinda, the Good Witch, symbol of Love and Light, they travel the yellow brick road (follow the money) to seek help from the Wizard of Oz who, it turns out, has no magic power and is just a man. He tells them to bring him the broom of the wicked witch and he will help them. They know they will have to destroy her to get it. He has been powerless to do that himself.
The Wicked Witch sees them coming and covers the field they are walking through with poppies, drugging Dorothy into sleep so the witch could steal her ruby slippers. The symbol of the magic of freedom and personal responsibility. The Good Witch causes a blanket of snow to fall, reversing the effect of the poppies.
Dorothy is kidnapped by the flying monkeys that belong to the narcissistic witch. Her friends attempt to rescue her but get caught. The witch sets fire to the scarecrow. Dorothy throws a bucket of water to put it out. It splashes on the witch and melts her, proving that there was nothing to her but what their fear created. Dorothy clicks her ruby slippers three times, whispering There Is no place like homeââ¾ and wakes up in her own bed. She is Home.
And the moral to this story is that good defeats evil; kindness overwhelms violence and the things we are most afraid of are only stories we have all been told and choose to believe.
This weekend, and for the next six months click your own heels three times to remind yourself that the magic of freedom and personal responsibility is how we will make the world a better place. And we have nothing to fear but the things we choose to fear. No one has any power over another except what they are given. Taking responsibility for yourself keeps your power where it belongs, with you!

ââ¾and this weekend Mars, planet of strength, anger, war, energy, passion, and determination enters its own home sign of Aries, the sign of how we appear, the personality and the self. Because of a very long retrograde period, instead of its normal 2 month stay, it will be in its home sign for 6 months, until January.
