Daily Horoscope for Cancer Summary
A Harvest Moon Eclipse takes place today...
What is special about this current Harvest Moon is that it occurs near the fall equinox... It's the signal of balance (Libra) where the length of the day and the night are the same... It brings with it the quality of "starting over"... Or re-newed sense of harmony and balance.
But with it this year is also a lunar eclipse... And like all eclipses, they indicate that significant changes will soon factor into our lives... The ancients used to describe that "fates" were outcomes that could be changed... But "destines" were determined by the heavens and were unalterable... So right now, we are going to have elements of both kickin' into our lives... (cool or what?)... hehe...
What we do and where we are when this energy occurs is very important... It sends a strong signal to the universe whether or not we are willing to comply with the needed changes or resist/ignore them... Attitude is very important in this mix... It's when we can initiate needed changes and transformations in our lives by making a strong symbolic gesture to the universe or Big Spirit... ((or whatever else you may want to call it)... hehe...
Because this Harvest Moon Eclipse occurs so close to my Birthday (27th)... I was born in '58 and I turn 58 years old... I've chosen to spend the day on the beach in Florida... (i was born to be tanned, rested and ready... barefoot on the beach) hehe... This year, my solar return actually occurs on the 26th @ 2:35pm... So that is when I'll "send my requests to the universe".
As long as I am talkin' about this... Lemme 'Splain something... In astrology, birthdays are very important... (the cycle of renewal)... A solar return (your true birthday) is the exact day and time the Sun returns to the POSITION it was in at the moment of your birth... It varies from year to year... It can be a day or so before or after your classic birthday... Solar Return charts are super important because they give you a "snapshot" of what you can expect during the upcoming year... This year's return has the Sun aligned with Jupiter in the 9th House... So I choose to make a bit of a "spiritual pilgrimage" and travel (Jupiter) to a location that is in harmony with my birthchart... (sounds more complicated than it really is)... hehe...
For what it's worth... All of you that are members here should check out your own Solar Return charts... (the solar return reports included with your memberships)... Lots of good info are contained in there... Including favorable locations and the planetary connections etc... The idea is to "plan ahead" so that you can use that information to your advantage by working in harmony with the universe rather than trying to fight it like so many people do.
Anyway... This is not "all about me"... (though it may sound that way)... I am just trying to show you guys how to use this astrological information too... That solar return energy remains with you for the entire year, so even if you missed your birthday you can still "ride the beneficial waves"...
