Daily Horoscope for Cancer Summary
Hey Moon-doggies...
I just sat down to write the weekly horoscopes and I got an email askin' about why I call you guys "Moon-doggies"... Way back in my early teens when I started studying astrology, most of the other astrologers I'd encounter back then tended to be "way-out-there"... hehe... After all, it was the late 60's and the culture was much different back then... (like groovy man)... hehe... Anyway, I kept studying and reading just about anything I could get my hands on about astrology, but kept most of it to myself as I didn't want to be branded as a "kook" by my friends fercrisakes... hehe...
Time passed, and in 1996 when I started publishing my horoscopes, most of my readers (all 10 of them at first hehe) were other astrologers... And these guys/girls were freakin' cool & brilliant... That you didn't have to pretend to be a guru and you could just write down what the chart said... (no more, no less)... Anyway, I was writing 'Scopes one night and one of those old Beach Movies was on the telly-vision (Gidget) and there was a character named "Moondoggie" who was "cool" but was also smart and "tuned-in" too... So I started calling the readers "Moon-doggies" because you could study the meta-physical world and still be cool and connected too... And almost 20 years later, that same fact holds true.
Many people view astrology as some kind of magical/mystical art, but the reality is that it's a science of patterns, geometry and cycles... Cycles within cycles, or like Dreams within a dream... It NEVER show outcomes, but merely our possibilities and options, or where to look for them... The outcomes are created by our own "Free Choice" decisions and actions... But let's face it, when you are more aware of the cycles, options and possibilities, it's a hell of a lot easier to slant the odds in your favor!!
Anyway... I just thought I'd share that story with you guys... Let's get to the real 'scopes... Thanks for stoppin' by....

Today's chart has a bit of a funky edge to it as it can be extremely emotional and passionate at one minute and as practical and task oriented the next... This where the chart tries to balance out the mind & emotions and to try to bring you to where your mind, body & soul are all in harmony like a well tuned engine... Because this energy tends to roll in like waves on a beach, care is needed not to allow yourself to get swept away by the moment... This has a lot to do with the fact that many things are currently beyond your ability to control & you need to have patience for now.
