Mercury goes direct today...
Work with me on this on this sarcastic comedy...
Throughout time & history, we get guys that rise up that really want to make a name for themselves in this world... A rare few of them catch all the right breaks & have the determination and drive to succeed, and actually do end up "making it"... Every day guys who become singers, musicians, athletes, politicians or movie stars suddenly see themselves as being "enlightened"... Being "celebrity" isn't enough for them, perhaps they feel their accomplishments aren't enough, real or even deserved... Frank Zappa had it right when he said "Shut Up & Play your Guitar!!"... hehe...
So these everyday guys become super wealthy like the Bill Gates's of the world... And because of that, they seem to feel the need to "fix" things... Some attach this to some kind of "Divine Mission, even though they really don't have a clue what they're doing... They try to find "a cause" that makes themselves look "wise" and that they "care"... They set out to administer their view of "Social Justice"... (a big mistake because that is the Big Spirit's job that it explicitly reserves for itself)... They move into positions where they can start to play "god" with our lives... And they end up doing a terrible butcher job on us and end up making things worse...
And when "the power elite's" Utopian dreams fail... (as they always have throughout time & history)... They naturally then turn around and blame it all on us... (gulp)... Yeah. they blame the "Little Guys"... They say their failure was because how stupid we are, because naturally it cannot be that THEY that were wrong... As things begin to melt down, then they take us to WAR... Find some other scapegoat or boogey-man to blame... But these leaders won't ever personally fight in the wars they create... Nahhh... Because they're way too valuable & special to be wasted... Instead they get us "sheep" to fight because we really don't matter to them anyway... Besides, they have convinced themselves that they are doing this for US!!... (sure)... We only remind them of their failures... Geeshka, you would think that after thousands of years of history that we would have caught on to this by now... Who knows, perhaps we really aren't that smart after all... hehe...
So I'm here to tell you that if I were ever to become "celebrity" I promise you that I don't have a clue or any interest at all in trying to "fix the world"... The world is actually perfect now... It's those that try to "fix it" are the ones that screw it up... And should I become "wealthy" I promise to piss it all away, like I should, with "Wimmin, Wine & Song"... And have a damn good time doing so... Because I am bright enough to realize that I am a mutant like the rest of you guys... And left to my own devices I could screw up a wet-dream fercrissakes... hehe... I'd find & buy Gilligan's Island and live on my beach in luxury... Bakin' in the sunshine during the day and sitting around with a fine cigar at night starin' up at the beauty of the night sky... Being eternally thankful for the "luck" and life the Big Guy has given me!!... hehehe...
So much for that dream, I better get back to work... hehe... Thanks for stoppin' by...
