Procrastination isn’t going to be your friend today, as you’ll find when you’re lazy or neglectful of certain situations, there can be some negative financial drawbacks associated. Think things like late fees, interest penalties, things finally breaking and needing to be replaced or fixed, that sort of thing. So you are going to want to stay on top of things.

This can extend to our personal relationships as well. We can let our desires bubble to the forefront, and while it’s not a bad thing to pursue your desires, it is to do so blindly with complete disregard for others. Be attentive to the impact your actions have on the world around you. Better yet, think about this before you do something. You have the potential to alienate others when you act haphazardly today (especially more so with people of the opposite sex), so slow down half a step and make sure you’re thinking things through. As much as you might want to employ a “I’ll just stand back here and see how this disintegrates” mentality when things get tough, realistically you’ll have to step in and get involved with problems that you didn’t create. The issue can quickly come from whether you have any skin in the game, and when you think about it, most of the time you will in these situations. There’s a responsibility to protect what’s yours and you have put in a little extra effort to ensure you do.
