There are these times in life where things become challenging. In those times, you are often presented with a choice: the goal or the way. This is important to keep in mind today because the situations we are in can call for flexibility. The way you want to do things might not be the best way to get them done (or might even make the goal more improbable/impossible). Changing what you're doing can be necessary, even if it puts you in a mode where you're not always feeling comfortable. But that's part of learning and gaining experience.

At the same time, there are also situations where doing things a set way is more important, simply because a goal is not. We often tend to inflate what certain things mean to us as we're going through the motions of them. Some goals cause us to lose more along the way than we stand to gain at the end.
