If you go on a first date, sometimes little issues don't seem like a big deal and you gloss over them - you let things go - or you might not even notice annoying quirks in the first place. This can extend to other types of relationships as well (with friends or coworkers), or even just the situations you're in (nagging house or car problems as an example). The more time you have to think about things, the more you can let a negative mindset take hold. So try to stay as busy as you can and avoid ruminating about things. If you can't solve something right now, put it on the shelf and move on to something else. A lot of the pressure felt here can be self-created, so avoid that and take things at a smarter pace.
